Here is the June edition of Mystery Makery between Rachel Brumley, fellow Fun Stampers Journey Coach, and I.  The stamp set we used is the Stay Wild artist trading stamp AT-0207.  The first card is mine and it was super simple to create. After stamping the image with black ink onto my white cardstock, I placed a circle cut from a Post It Note to cover the area for the sun (this technique is called masking). I came in with the blue shade from the Party Pop PanPastels to create both the sky and the water. I blended brown and green from the Mother Nature PanPastels to create the earth. Once I had achieved the look that I liked with the PanPastels, I removed the mask then stamped the greeting over the top. Lastly, I drew in the birds with a fine point pen.  I decided to turn it into a Sympathy card because it turned out so peaceful looking.

Next is Rachel’s card.  I love the way she added Sparkle Silk to give added dimension. You can visit her blog for instructions to re-create it for yourself.
